Gathering Ground Communities in Conversation: BIPOC Mental Health

Join Gathering Ground for an action-oriented one-hour gathering on Wednesday, March 6th from 10:00am – 11:00am on Zoom.

Communities in Conversation - an equity-focused, vibrant, fast-paced, cross sector virtual think tank. This is an opportunity for people to foster deeper connections, share knowledge and resources, and leverage these virtual gatherings as a springboard for statewide collaboration.

Tackle Two Essential Questions:

  • What is needed to ensure BIPOC individuals/families in need of assistance or who are living with mental health challenges receive culturally competent mental health services from our organizations and other providers?

  • How can we disrupt the foundations of racism to create a different system of engagement, treatment and support that begins with and supports front-line workers and volunteers?

Hosted in partnership with the Mental Health Association in NJ, this month's focus: BIPOC Mental Health & Resources for Culturally Competent Front-Line Workers and Volunteers.

The discussions are generative, productive, rapid, and collaborative! Register now for the session on Wednesday, March 6th at 10:00am on ZOOM.
