Human Relations Media: Ten Ways to Stay Safe on the Internet

This program teaches teens to understand and avoid the consequences of putting private personal information and photos on the internet. It encourages teesn to consider their posts before they click, protect their passwords, regularly monitor their online profiles and privacy settings, check tags in postings with other, and more. Teens are encouraged to be aware of tracking technologies, the dangers of texting and driving, anonymous apps, social network platforms, sexting, cyberbullying, and safe surfing/downloading practices.

 Students who attend both Human Relations Media services (Staying Safe Online and   Upstanding to Bullies) at Norwood Library will get $25 gift card. (1/28/25 and 2/4/25)
